Crochet rag rug

I just discovered how to crochet ripped up sheets into a rug! I am so addicted to this now. My hubby and I are going sheet hunting @ thrift stores today. My mind is buzzing with ideas!

  1. Can’t wait to see! That sounds awesome. I’ve had an unfinished one myself made from t-shirts, but I ran out of patience with it because of all the knots I had to tie. Using sheets is a great idea, and I might just steal it! 🙂

  2. My rug also had a lot of knots and when I stepped on it I could feel the knots. So, the rug I am making now I didn’t knot. Instead when I got to the end of the sheet I just overlapped the ends and crocheted them in the sc together and it works and not knots required! I took a 2 inch section when I overlapped so I got a good 2 sc with both pcs. Much better. Plus I went to Goodwill on 50% off day and got 6 sheets for under $20. Too bad you didn’t finish your t-shirt rug it sounds super cute. If you make a sheet rug post it. I would love to see it. 🙂
